Kayak Camping – Goodland Launch to Helen Key – 3 Day Adventure

David Whitford will host a three-day, two-night camping trip on Cape Romano in the 10,000 Island area. The group will launch from Goodland on the morning of Saturday, March 30 and return on Monday, April 1.
You are responsible for bringing water, food, and camping gear to the camp site. The camp site faces Southwest, and David promises a magnificent sunset every evening and clear star-filled skies at night. The one-way trip distance ito Helen Key is only about 3 to 4 miles.

The launch site is posted as Goodland Boat Park, but that may not be correct due to parking regulations. David will provide all details.
The standard requirements for an SFK trip apply – you must wear your PFD, make sure your vessel is secure and capable, and know your limitations. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and well-being.
