How does advanced asana relate to advanced wellbeing? This is where the practice shifts from being goal-oriented to becoming process-oriented. It doesn’t matter if you want to ever do advanced yoga poses or even if you really, really want to do them. The nervous system is the threshold guardian that tells the body to stop or go.
In our lives off of the mat, the nervous system governs our patience, calamity, and composure. In this workshop, we will show how to listen to the nervous system while approaching challenging asana. We will work with your edge with compassion, and train you to see capability beyond your belief. Most importantly, our work will culminate into an understanding of how yoga can change our deep-rooted behaviors.
