Finding Your Zero Stress Zone in Big Cypress National Preserve
June 8, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Join Ranger Lisa Andrews for a relaxing walk in the woods on the Kirby Storter Boardwalk to de-stress. Studies show there are many health benefits from losing yourself in the forest, while enjoying the air, the scents, the vegetation, and the sounds of birds and animals that live there. Walking beneath the lush green canopy of towering cypress trees might be one of the healthiest things you can do.
After our 1 mile round trip stroll, Personal Development Coach Peggy Sealfon will guide us on a mindful meditation and body mind integration experience, connecting nature with your own natural vital life force energy.
Bring: Plenty of water, sunscreen, yoga mat and towel.
Wear: Cool, comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather and walking shoes.
Registration is necessary as spots are limited.
